Introduction
Where are you from? uses a repetitive typographical design and embosssed metal type to present a personal struggle with this question.
This letterpress printed book presents my personal struggle with finding a constant answer to the question "Where are you from?"; a result of moving around and settling in new places every few years. This idea is presented as a dialogue between people as they familiarize themselves with each other. The dialogue imitates a generic initial conversation between people but the use of repetitive typography and embossed metal type accentuate my personal dilemma when answering this question.
